Hi,

Textadept 10.0 alpha 3 is released from http://foicica.com/textadept

Textadept is a fast, minimalist, and remarkably extensible text editor.

Please see the migration guide[1] for upgrading from Textadept 9.x to 10.x.

Textadept now requires GCC 4.9+ in order to compile (but not run), so-as to take advantage of C++11's regex features. As such, the TRE regex library (with its bugs) is no longer required or used. Also, since the `buffer.set_theme()` API has slightly changed, you will get a compatibility notice to update your syntax.

This is the last alpha release of Textadept 10. The next release will be a beta.

Bugfixes:

  * Fixed hang in the terminal version on Windows.
  * Fixed accidental stripping of leading newlines in pasted text.
  * Fixed initialization errors not showing in the terminal version.

Changes:

  * Textadept requires GCC 4.9 (circa early-2014) or later to compile (not run).
  * C++11 regex replaces old TRE library.
  * Scintillua and Scinterm were merged into Scintilla and are no longer dependencies.
  * Emacs-style `^K` for OSX and the terminal version joins lines at EOL.
  * Pasted text reindents an extra level after a fold header.
  * `buffer.set_theme()` now takes an initial buffer argument like all other buffer functions and does not have any call restrictions.
  * Scintilla: Added `events.AUTO_C_SELECTION_CHANGE` event.
  * Updated to Scintilla 3.8.0.

Cheers,
Mitchell
