I added this debug to keypress() in core/keys.lua:

   ui.statusbar_text = 'SHIFT:'..(shift and "1" or "0")..'
CTRL:'..(control and "1" or "0").." CODE:"..code

before "--print(code, M.KEYSYMS[code], shift, control, alt, meta,
caps_lock)", and get the following results:

in TA10.0:

CTRL+E=               shift:0 ctrl:1 code:101    ("e" OK)

SHIFT+CTRL+E=  shift:1 ctrl:1 code:69       ("E" OK)

-----

in TA10.1:

CTRL+E=               shift:0 ctrl:1 code:101    ("e" OK)

SHIFT+CTRL+E=  shift:1 ctrl:1 code:101     ("e" <<< Wrong)

-----

Cheers,

Gabriel
