I downloaded and copied all the DLLs from http://www.gtk.org/download-windows.html
I copied them all directly to the root folder of textadept and it
worked fine for me, but
my initial error message was "... failed to start because of missing
libgtk-win32-2.0-0.dll. Reinstalling the application may fix this
problem."
