Some additional modules for anyone interested:
Here is a little module that shortens the filename in buffer titles
and switch buffer dialogs. (1)
For snapopen, a modified version is necessary (2) and needs to be
placed in ~/textadept/modules/textadept/
.
On Windows
`C:\Documents and Settings\username\Desktop\...` is replaced with
`Desktop\...`, on Max OS X and Linux
`/home/username/...` or `/Users/username/...` with `~/...`.

Very useful if you have a small screen and long filenames. It requires
3.6 because it relies on the order of events that are overwritten from
the core module.

The Ack module has been updated to by default use the built in find in
files on Windows within the same search box. (Ack runs on Windows,
too, but this is a easy portable alternative and it's also quite
fast.) (3)

I ported Mitchell's scite-tools Ruby module for Textadept (4). It has
syntax checking like the Lua module along with a lot of snippets.
